I only have one copy left (the other is seriously dilapidated) of Selwyn Hughes's Cover to Cover, a chronological Bible-reading guide, which he published 19 years ago in the hopes of encouraging people to read through the Bible in the year 2000.
For posterity's sake, I post the guide here, so I can refer to it year after year should my last copy become unreadable.
Things that jumped up at me with today's reading were:
Adam's first recorded words were poetry at the sight of Eve.
God refers to the Deity as Us.
God, the Creator, gave humanity a special blessing and work. I think mine is creativity.
